Education

Lindenwood University - Bachelors, Mass Communications

Experience

I am a Lindenwood University graduate with my bachelor's in mass communication. I earned my education certificate at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I am the legislative rep for the MSRTA, or the Missouri State Reading Teachers Association, as well as a part of the Science Teachers of Missouri, the Mathematics Educators of Greater St. Louis, and the St. Louis Suburban Council of Reading Teachers. I spent several years teaching at schools in the St. Louis Archdiocese. I work as a certified early childhood educator at a local elementary school, though I also offer my educational services as a private tutor in numerous topics. Aside from 1st through 5th grade reading, writing, math, and science, I work with older students in middle and high school topics. As an instructor, I have seen the damages of summer break and offer summer tutoring to combat it. I also provide homework support and test prep. When I'm not tutoring, I can be found reading cookbooks or exploring my backyard garden with my four rescues, two dogs and two cats. I volunteer for PALS in Troy, as well as at the St. Louis Muscular Dystrophy Association.
